Introducing Myself!

Hey Everyone!
My name is Jonathan and I’m the new marketing intern for Amazing Edibles Catering. I’ve been here for a few weeks working behind the scenes, but now I get to connect with all of you personally. I grew up in the far-west Chicago suburbs (Saint Charles or Geneva anyone?) before moving to the city proper. I am a rising senior at the University of Chicago majoring in Psychology and minoring in Statistics and I’m working alongside my fellow intern Enzo on events and social media projects. I love doing anything related to food so working at a catering company with an open kitchen just downstairs is really cool! I’ve already been able to sit in on a few of our “Bridal Bites,” a personalized meeting to coax out exactly what the couple wants to see at their full wedding tasting. We go over the three words to describe the wedding, the venue, colors, table settings, and, of course, what’s on the menu. As an indecisive food lover, I couldn’t imagine just going to a tasting and deciding then and there whether what I’ve tasted is what I want at one of the biggest events of my life. Actually, even Bridal Bites and a tasting doesn’t seem like enough time. Thankfully, it’ll be at least a few years before I have to think about any of this.
