The flute, a stemmed glass that's tall and narrow, but not lacking in its gentle curves that suspend the floating, rolling bubbles of its content pale drink. Like a slender neck held high, the flute stands out as a shape of elegance, and importance. It knows it’s something more than just a glass, but a statement onto the evening’s events. It is handled delicately and with expected care. Bright and bubbly with conversation, the flute is a host who pops from guest to guest, ensuring their evening not only marks the occasion but leaves lasting impressions, imprinting their energy and good will onto the very date itself. It’s special, pulled from the pantry for occasions truly worth celebrating, and thus truly worth hosting. Clusters of people are chattering around the room, conversations shifting from one side to the other, rolling in and around each other like the bubbles that pop alongside the surface below the brim of the glass.

The flute in its shadow of refinement, declares a meal that is elevated to its taste. A lobster risotto, perhaps, served alongside a golden baguette and sauteed broccolini in garlic and butter.
