DINNER SILHOUETTE: The Old Fashioned

The Old Fashioned Glass

You can't get any more classic than the lowball tumbler glass. This glass is an old soul, stout and serious. Whether its relationship is on the rocks with liquor or not, its old school shape perfectly fits a neat drink or an inspired cocktail. The Old Fashion glass is reminiscent of older days, when the drink was young and the world was simpler. Drop of sugar and a twist of orange was enough to satisfy the palette of this drink, strong and uncomplicated. With a drop of water aromas come to life and the spirit of the Old Fashion is reborn and becomes lively once more. It’s straight to the point with the Old Fashioned, and that’s how it likes it.

With a hearty drink comes a hearty meal. A bacon brown sugar pork tenderloin comes to mind, alongside roasted brussel sprouts with chopped pecans and a maple glaze, followed by cheesy potato gratin, and closing the evening with an aromatic chocolate cigar.
